Vail is known for its three main areas: the Front Side, the Back Bowls and Blue Sky Basin. The Front Side's 127 trails include virtually every type of terrain, while the Back Bowls offer six miles of powder paradise. Blue Sky Basin is a fun, tree-gladed utopia nestled in the wilderness. Being one of the most popular resorts in North America, it does get a lot of visitors, but it is well equipped to handle the crowds. The 34 lifts give an uphill capacity of over 53,000 people per hour.
Your lift ticket is also valid for Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Keystone. Beaver Creek is about 20 minutes away on a convenient bus. Don’t miss the opportunity to ski this upscale resort.
European-style Village: The mock-Tyrolean village and the Lionshead area serve as the main downtown area of Vail. These two areas offer hundreds of shopping, dining and entertainment options, including fun and upscale pizza joints, classy restaurants with extensive wine lists and a gamut of nightlife hubs, from quiet piano bars to happening disco and live-band establishments. They offer a convenient FREE private shuttle to three locations with lift access in Vail Village, making it easy for guests to enjoy the magnificent outdoor activities that the area has to offer. Transfers: Once we arrive Denver the party will begin with a 2.5 hour scenic ride to Vail, with a stop at the famous Applejack Wine & Spirits and for groceries.
