We are thrilled to be returning to one of our most popular destinations, which happens to have one of the most convenient slope-side lodging options. Skimag.com readers ranked Snowmass as the 5th best ski resort in Western North America in 2021, making it a great choice for skiers of all skill levels. Despite slipping from its #1 position in the past two years, Snowmass still offers incredible dining, entertainment, and Après ski options. The diversity of terrain across the four mountains is unparalleled and ensures a memorable experience for all. For more information on Snowmass/Aspen, including recent upgrades, check out their app for iPhone or Android.

THE SKIING

Aspen/Snowmass boasts four renowned mountains that make them one of the world's top ski resorts. The biggest mountain is Snowmass, which covers 3,332 acres of skiable terrain and offers an abundance of options for skiers and snowboarders, including cruisers, steeps, glades, off-piste, terrain parks, super pipes, and the longest lift-served vertical rise in the US. Snowmass has a base elevation of 8,104' that rises to 12,510', and the Sheer Bliss high-speed quad lift provides a convenient ride to the top. Additionally, most lifts have built-in maps that you can review while you ride. Aspen Mountain, also known as "Ajax," rises from the heart of downtown Aspen and is famous for its steep slopes, challenging bumps, and breathtaking views. Its double-black and tree runs are a delight for both skiers and snowboarders.

Aspen Highlands is a mountain that is well-loved by the locals. It has a variety of terrains to offer, ranging from extreme to groomed cruisers, and provides awe-inspiring views. For those looking for an ultimate ski or snowboarding experience, they can hike up and drop into Highland Bowl. On the other hand, Buttermilk is an ideal family learning center in North America. There is a 22-foot Olympic-sized half pipe and terrain park for experts while the rest of us can enjoy cruising on the wide and rolling trails. A free shuttle service connects all these mountains.

Get ready to explore the stylish Aspen by taking the complimentary 20-minute shuttle ride. You will be amazed by the incredible range of shops and restaurants that offer unbeatable quality. There is no shortage of entertainment options in both Snowmass and Aspen. Even though Snowmass is comparatively smaller, it boasts 25 bars located in Snowmass Village. Do not forget to check out the numerous activities and dining options available in Aspen/Snowmass.

Slope-side and Ski-In/Ski-Out Accommodations!

We will be staying at Top of the Village, the club's preferred accommodation in Snowmass. This property offers both 2-bedroom/2-bathroom and some 3-bedroom/3-bathroom condos for two guests per room. Situated amidst forests and mountains on three sides, it is one of the top ski-in/ski-out places to stay in Snowmass. Some units offer easy access to skiing right from your back door. In addition, Snowmass Village shopping, restaurants, and activities are within walking distance. The condos are equipped with a washer and dryer, and elevators are available to rest our legs after a full day of skiing. We will be welcomed by a reception provided by the property, and baggage loading and unloading will be taken care of at Top of the Village.
