THE SKIING

Copper Mountain has naturally divided skiable terrain serviced by 23 lifts with over 140 trails and 150 runs.

The base at Copper Mountain is at 9,712' with a resort summit elevation of 12,312'.

Don’t know what a “chondola” is – well it’s a hybrid lift combining the elements of a gondola

and chairlift. The resort spent an estimated $20M on the lift upgrades.

Copper has adequate lifts and runs for the beginner, intermediate and expert skiers.

Three main areas: Copper Mountain, Union Peak, and Union Creek, combine to give the hungry skier four bowls to enjoy

THE TOWN / VILLAGES

If it's been a while since you've been to Copper Mountain things have changed in recent years!
The Village at Copper is already bearing fruits of change as a result of a $100 million multi-year transformation, which includes: new venues like Toast & Co and 10 Mile Tavern; revamped retail at Camp Hale; and two new lifts (the resort replaced the American Eagle and American Flyer with a six-pack and "chondola," respectively).

THE LODGING

The Village at Copper is a high alpine, high energy pedestrian village. Ski Copper and experience the nightlife, bistros, coffee shops and restaurants, ice skating, or just hang out by the fire pits relaxing.

We will be staying in Center Village Condominiums - 2 BR/2 BA units with full kitchens.

These condos are a 2-3 minute walk to the American Eagle and Flyer lifts, and an even shorter walk (or crawl) from several restaurants, bars and shops.
