THE SKIING
Copper Mountain has naturally divided skiable terrain serviced by 23 lifts with over 140 trails and 150 runs.
The base at Copper Mountain is at 9,712' with a resort summit elevation of 12,312'.
Don’t know what a “chondola” is – well it’s a hybrid lift combining the elements of a gondola
and chairlift. The resort spent an estimated $20M on the lift upgrades.
Copper has adequate lifts and runs for the beginner, intermediate and expert skiers.
Three main areas: Copper Mountain, Union Peak, and Union Creek, combine to give the hungry skier four bowls to enjoy
