Huge Variety of Skiing: Vail is seven miles wide with more than 5,200 acres of terrain, making it the third largest ski resort in the USA and one of the most popular. Vail's 350 inches of snow per year promise a lot of skiing for your money.
Vail is known for its three main areas: the Front Side, the Back Bowls and Blue Sky Basin. The Front Side's 127 trails include virtually every type of terrain, while the Back Bowls offer six miles of powder paradise. Blue Sky Basin is a fun, tree-gladed utopia nestled in the wilderness. Being one of the most popular resorts in North America, it does get a lot of visitors, but it is well equipped to handle the crowds. The 34 lifts give an uphill capacity of over 53,000 people per hour.
Your lift ticket is also valid for Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Keystone. Beaver Creek is about 20 minutes away on a convenient bus. Don’t miss the opportunity to ski this upscale resort.
European-style Village: The mock-Tyrolean village and the Lionshead area serve as the main downtown area of Vail. These two areas offer hundreds of shopping, dining and entertainment options, including fun and upscale pizza joints, classy restaurants with extensive wine lists and a gamut of nightlife hubs, from quiet piano bars to happening disco and live-band establishments. Can you say “Party”?
Accommodations: All units are 2 or 3 bedroom, 2 or 3 bath condos. Our group will be staying in Landmark Condos located in Lionshead Village. The Landmark condos are located in Vail's Lionshead Village for easy shopping and onsite ski rentals. The Landmark condos offering full concierge services, these condominiums also have a fully equipped kitchen and microwave, fireplace, laundry facilities, and a private balcony with a gas barbecue. After skiingor shopping enjoy a new, beautifully landscaped, recreation deck which features the outdoor heated pool, three hot tubs, a fire pit, and overlooks the center of the village. The arrival center houses guest ski lockers and a new elevator that will serve the mall level of Lionshead Village. A free, in-town shuttle to Vail Village is also available should you decide to venture further. Located just 150 yards from the Eagle-Bahn Gondola, you will be sure to love the comfort of the Landmark condominiums!
Transfers: Once we arrive Denver the party will begin with a 2.5 hour scenic ride to Vail, with a stop at the famous Applejack Wine & Spirits and for groceries.
